Hostile Environment Close Protection Training

Introduction to Close Protection Training

Due to the UK licensing laws and that many service providers based in the UK are operating within hostile environments, they are requiring operatives to hold the SIA license even though they are not working in the UK. CTR Services has partnered with Trojan Securities International USA with the design of a new advanced hostile environments Close Protection training course to meet the criteria of the SIA and the licensing requirements.

This developed course has UK certification with the added advanced firearms qualifications to ensure you have the correct level of training for operating in hostile environments. The combined training in the USA is 16 days duration.

Close Protection Training Course Structure

BoxThis Close Protection training course was designed by CTR Services Ltd & Trojan Securities International to cater for the demand for Hostile environments training also recognized by the UK Security Industry Authority, whilst providing the very best in armed protection training. The 150 hour course is broken down into 3 modules which are:

  • • 3 days basic firearms and protection principals.
  • • 10 days hostile environments armed firearms protection.
  • • 3 days advanced principals and examination.

We are endorsed by Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College under contractual agreement to conduct the Security Industry Authority (SIA) 150 hour Short Course. The course structure focuses on developing the student to a level that they can be assessed on exercises with Simunitions (Force on Force Live Fire Training). No other training course can provide this type of Close Protection training with this added training unless they hold Military training Licenses.

The recognition of the Close Protection training course is second to none and during the 16 days you will develop a portfolio which prepares you for the future within the Hostile Environments sectors.
